Atlanta, Georgia
A quick Atlanta weekend for Olivia’s first TV filming. In Laura’s words.
heading to ATL for her first TV filming 🎬
Today was a day…an experience. Olivia met the other little girl she is filming with and they took still shots together. We walked the entire warehouse of sets which was amazing. The things they can create and do are unreal. One scene was being filmed where they were blowing something up. We went to the hair/makeup trailer where one of the DC Characters (Neil Jackson) was getting his makeup done. He was very nice to us. As we were leaving Amy Smart was going to her trailer. Tomorrow Olivia will film her scene with her.
That’s a wrap 🎬 AMAZING. Her part was so small but she did great. Olivia has a new best friend in Georgia. They were planning a future play date in the back of the van that took us to the filming site. We met so many people who were great to us. Olivia was well taken care of and her “mom” was wonderful. We hung with Amy Smart for a minute and got to meet the teenage versions of Olivia and her friend. The set was incredible. We had our own trailer and Olivia felt like a star. I think my favorite thing is that the writer (Geoff Johns) came and introduced himself to us and Olivia and complemented her on her audition tape and how outgoing she was (which for some of you I know that’s a surprise). I don’t know if this is in her future but this was such a great experience. I have very few pictures because we were not allowed.
THIS. I am in the 20% @[25103056:2048:Stephen Baughn] it’s a real thing.
🍽️ Eats & places
- Mr Kebab, Acworth — “fantastic! Looking for something non-chain — this place is delicious. Friendly staff and huge portions; the chicken kebab platter comes with a huge Greek salad.”
