• Cloudland Canyon West Rim Loop (4.9 mi · 2h 9m) — clifftop loop with sweeping canyon views and two waterfalls down in the gorge.

• Mercier Orchards, Blue Ridge — a beloved family apple orchard and farm store.
• Tallulah Gorge — a dramatic 1,000-ft gorge crossed by a suspension bridge.
• High Shoals Falls, Hiawassee — a forest hike to two waterfalls.
